With my designs, I want to contribute to a better fashion future and a more conscious lifestyle. I take personal responsibility for every single step of the process: from the initial sketch and material selection to production and logistics. While I cannot change everything overnight, I carefully consider every decision to minimize environmental impact and find better solutions.
Sustainability is in the details. I exclusively use natural materials, with a focus on mulesing-free merino wool. I consciously avoid petroleum-based materials because of their negative impact on the planet. I also avoid plastics for buttons and zippers, and I am currently researching alternatives to replace fusible interfacing. My care does not stop once a garment is finished; I offer a repair service to ensure your knitwear lasts a lifetime, and I am exploring ways to integrate a marketplace for pre-owned items.
My personal drive
For me, responsibility is not just a concept—it is a day-to-day way of living. I ride my bike daily, I eat a plant-based diet, and I hope to inspire others to make conscious choices. Working in fashion can sometimes raise questions when you talk about sustainability. But the truth is, we all need clothes. We all need to get dressed, so why not wear something that makes you feel like the best version of yourself while having a positive impact? Fashion is my way of making that difference.
Knitted in my own studio
What I am most proud of? I now knit the entire collection myself, right here in my own studio. While I previously worked with European manufacturing partners and a Dutch knitwear studio, bringing the entire production under my own roof allows me to truly practice what I preach. I work with small batches of yarn, eliminate deadstock, and keep my carbon footprint to an absolute minimum. This also gives me the ultimate freedom to develop a unique made-to-order concept. Every piece is crafted only after you place an order, tailored specifically to reduce waste.
Fashion driven by instinct, with a conscious approach in every single stitch.
